Devlog 02: Story, Level Design, Climbing Mechanics


Hey there!

Welcome to the second development blog for The Day The Sky Fell. We have made a lot of progress since the last update. Our dev team has been hard at work on the movement and visual novel components of the game. Our music team has composed some tracks featuring chill Lo-fi beats that really captures the feel of our game. Last but not least the art team is making a lot of wonderful models, level grayboxes, and animations that will give the game its unique style.

You can view our design document for a comprehensive report on all the technical specifications for our game, as well as various level design and art assets. If you want to get a feel of how the game will play you can checkout our tech demo. In the following weeks we will be finalizing the climbing mechanics, as well as start building the actual levels out.
